What are fascia boards for?
Composite fascia boards serve both functional and aesthetic purposes. They protect the ends of deck boards, preventing moisture from reaching the exposed edges and making your deck last even longer. In addition to their functional use, they provide a polished look to the deck by concealing the structural elements beneath and creating a seamless transition between the surface of the deck and the surrounding area.
How do I install fascia boards?
Installing your composite fascia is simple and effective. To ensure its stability and prevent warping or buckling, use two screws every 400mm along the length of the board. For a full 3.6m board, you'll need 20 screws. Remember to pre-drill holes into the fascia board to prevent splitting during installation.
